Visa Information – Zabreg

Croatia visa application varies depending on your purpose of staying in the country and the duration of your stay. A short-stay visa allows you to stay in the country for a period not exceeding 90 days within a 180 days period. This visa allows entry to the country for purposes such as conference attendance. Since 1st January 2023, Croatia has been included in the Schengen area. This means passengers with a valid Schengen visa (Schengen A and C type visas) do not need to apply for visa. The Schengen Area, a group of 26 European countries, allow free movement of people between each of them. As such, citizens from any of these countries do not need a visa to visit Croatia.

Please be aware that the conference organizers are not able to haste visas’ appointments or other procedures for participants. We won’t be able to contact directly consulates or embassies and we do not intervene in anyway with the Visa process as the participant is the singular responsible to apply and follow up on the Visa application. We advise all participants to check whether or not a visa is needed. If you are likely to need a visa, we recommend that you make your application as soon as possible.

All international nationals must possess valid identification and travel documents before entering Croatia. For detailed information check the following pages:
